About Me

Welcome to my little home of Paws, Pets and Places.

Hi, I'm Justine, the artist and founder of Jagos Art, and I'm so glad you're here! I'm a passionate artist working in both traditional and digital mediums, creating artwork that celebrates the beauty of nature, animals and travel.

Jagos Art began in 2019 when I took a leap of faith, leaving my role as a Teaching Assistant to pursue a more flexible career - one that allowed Me to be there for my daughter while following my creative passion. I started by offering pet portrait commissions in watercolour, charcoal and coloured pencil, alongside paintings of wildlife and scenic landscapes. Then just before Covid, I discovered digital painting and developed a style inspired by vintage railway posters, which quickly became a signature part of my work.

Over the years, my business has evolved and I am now enjoying learning new crafts which, all being well, I will introduce to you later this year, but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy looking through my website and please do remember, every design begins as an original drawing before becoming a print or a gift.

Beyond my artwork, I also share my creative journey on YouTube, documenting the ups and downs of running a small business. It's an honest look at the process, and I hope to grow this space into something even more meaningful in the years ahead.
